Review of Off the Traxx in Melbourne, FL

Food was descent for the price.  Service left a lot to be desired.  Too Noisy to be able to carry on a conversation.

In Sickness...

Been Sick.  Had been in Hospital for most of the month of April.  Been doing out patient rehad May and June.  Stll have a few outpatient physical therapy sessions to do, then time to hit gym. 

My doc's say I'm doing well in my recovery, but I am still along way from being back to "normal".

Bleh...

Had a head cold and I just finally got rid of it!  I hate being sick.  I would have liked to just sleep it off, but I had to be a responsible adult and go to work while I had it.

Working today, then I'm off tomorrow.  Just going to relax and then hang with some friends tomorrow night.

I'm off from work today!  There is much rejoycing.  I think Mother Nature is off her meds--cold, warm, cold, warm!!! 

Not going to be doing much of anything today.

I've been such a slacker!

I've been such a slacker in posting!

Lets see...in the last month or so, a lot has happened...

I've been working a lot on various swaps.  :)  I've been immersing myself in creativity. 

I had my birthday.  My friends and family seem to make it into a three or four day event.  Going out with different people for dinner.  :) 

My grandmother had her 94th birthday.  I also celebrated an aniversary. 

Monday Again?

It's Monday again?  Didn't we just do this last week?  Working today 3 to close.  No mail or banking today because of the holiday.  Hoping to have things to do to keep myself busy.

New YEar

I've been slacking a little on my postings.  I had a very busy week between Christmas and New Years.  Job's mini season.  Work is back to normal--as normal as can be I suppose.  Got some stock out.

I've been working on catching up on a couple swaps and then working on a couple more.  I'm pretty much back on track with all my swaps.  Even though the partners are assigned for one of the swaps I'm in, I haven't started that swap, but I do have roughly two months to complete it.  So no worries there. 

Christmas Eve

Working today, have tomorrow off.  Hoping that today is a busy day at work.  Not slamming, but at least busy. 

I can work on a couple swaps in any down time.  One of them I just need to put an address on and then head to the post office and get postage for.  The other one is a journal swap, so I can do some writing.  I do have other things to take care of too. 

Losses and sadness.

One of my dearest friends lost his father yesterday afternoon.  He finally succumbed to his various illnesses after a 7+ year battle.  He will be missed.  My heart and prayers go out to my friend and his family.  I'll have to get a sympathy card out to him.  He also knows that if he ever needs anything, that I'll be there for him.

Day off from work today.  Worked on a swap and will be working on another later--or at least that is the plan. 

Did some reading.  About to go and do some errands and have some me time.  :)

Niki is laying here sleeping.  She is so cute. 

Back at work...

Back at work...bored now.  Only have about 4 more hours though.  I'm off tomorrow, but I've got things to do and people to see.  :) 

Next week is going to be crazy.  I'm hoping that it is going to be crazy busy, but we'll see. 

Looking forward to Christmas! 

Gotta Rant a Little

In one of the swaps I'm hosting, I get a pm from a possible swapper asking all sorts of questions which were (at least in my opinion) answered in the swap description.  But in trying to be a good hostess, I go ahead and answer them.  She shoots me another pm, with more questions.  Again, I answer them.  The third pm asked me how much something like this would cost to send (this being a smallish 'spa package').  I like to think that I am at least somewhat intelligent, but I cannot intelligently speak to how much something like that would cost to send.  I politely stated, that I was unsure as to how much it would cost because each were going to be different dependant on what was sent. 

Bored now

It's Saturday afternoon and I am just sooo bored!  Usually, I'd be at work today, but I had taken my last vacation days. 

Niki is sleeping, my man is doing some tinkering. 

Enjoying my days off...

I'm enjoying my days off.  I go back to work on Monday.  Bleh.  I love my job, it's just one of the people who works there that makes life a bit difficult.  I'm sure everyone knows at least one person (whether in life or at work) like that. 

I've got all my Christmas shopping done.  All the presents are wrapped.  Of course, Niki, my feline, had to try and 'help'. 

Working on a number of swaps.  The 'big' one for right now is a journal swap. 

Got a lot to do in the next few days--some of the necessary evils in life, some baking, stuff like that....

Sunday

Mom gets back into town late tonight.  Will be staying with the kids tonight.

I don't have to work til noon tomorrow.  Yay!  Then I don't have to be in again til next Monday!

I hope that I am able to sleep better tonight than I did last night.

Wrapped a few more stocking stuffers.  I'm almost done with all my Christmas shopping--Just have to get Niki some stuff. 

It's the Weekend!

It's Saturday morning.  I'm house & pet sitting for my mum.  She's out in Texas visiting my bro, sister in law and my two neices--one of them just had their 1st birthday on Thursday.

Had some cereal for breakfast.  I'm going to work on one of my journal swaps later--I'm a little behind on it. I'm also going to work on two Christmas card swaps.  I can just get them signed for right now.  I have a third one I'm in.  In all three, I'm just waiting for partners to be assigned. 

Another Manic Monday???

Working today.  Bored to tears.  I need to work on my journal for this month, but not really feeling it right now.  I wrote a little earlier.  I have also worked a little on a few other swaps today also.

I'm off from work tomorrow, but I have a few things I need to do.  Is it really a day off when you still have to go out and actually do things???

About 2 hours and 20 minutes before I am off from work.

Save me from the insanity!

At work today, not really working all that hard.  I did have a guy come in, do his paperwork and look around and decided not to buy anything...waste of my time and paper.  If you were only going to look, why bother doing paperwork???

The only other person (besides my employee) that I've seen today is the mailman.  Totally bored at work.  Signed and dated some FB's.  Wrote a little in this month's journal swap.  Did some reading. 

Looking forward to having tomorrow off with my man!

working and other stuff...

Working all day today.  Bleh.  Picked up lunch for my worker and I.

Got the last package I was expecting and got it all wrapped up for Christmas.  I just have one more big thing to get and the rest are going to be stocking stuffers.  I'll probably have all my shopping done next weekend.  Or at least I am hoping that I do.

Shopping...

I've got most of my Christmas shopping done.  I've got one more "big" thing to get, but I'm not sure as to which way I want to go with that one yet.  I'll make my decision eventually.  The rest of the stuff is small items and stocking stuffers.  Most of the items are already wrapped and ready to go.  I think I can have most of my shopping done within the next couple weeks.

At home right now, playing with Niki and waiting for my game turn.
